I am an advertising, editorial, and fine art photographer and photographic educator specializing in environmental portraiture. I've been all over the world photographing everything from remote Kurdish villagers on mountain tops with a 4x5 camera, to making portrait illustrations of aspiring actors on location in NYC, to pig farm workers in the back woods of North Carolina. Basically, some fairly random moments with some pretty amazing people in some really incredible locations; all to make an interesting and captivating portrait. It has consistently been a series of new experiences and interesting people over the 14 years that I have been in the industry.
